ChildAid brings hope and opportunities to children in eastern Europe. Much of our work includes social work, healthcare and education. We are seeking a person with experience in such sectors to advise, guide and support the charity.

What will you be doing?
The charity works with locally-led organisations in Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus. The partners are social workers, educators and healthcare professionals. We do not have sufficient skills and knowledge in these areas and are seeking trustees with practical experience who can offer advice, guidance, direction and support in decision-making, planning and day-to-day matters to the Board, staff and project partners. Whilst we would not and could not expect the partners to adopt all of the suggestions and direction that could be offered, it is important that we can provide professional and accurate guidance and feedback. ChildAid is a Christian mission and therefore you will need to have a practicing Christian faith or at least be sympathetic to the ideals and principles of our faith.
What are we looking for?
Healthcare or Education Social care / counselling services Support and training Current or recent practical experience in healthcare, education or social care environments preferred.
What difference will you make?
You will be a vital part of the Board’s and the charity’s decision-making and guidance in the key areas of our mission of healthcare and education. This will enable the project partners to be able to deliver the best possible services for their children and young people.
