Volunteer VE Day Project

What will you be doing?

I am looking for volunteer artists that would like to contribute to putting together the artwork for a soundboard that hopefully will become a legacy for the city.  The project is called Freedom: Then and Now . In a nutshell, we are creating a mixed media soundboard : 

Soundboard Exhibit: A mixed-media installation incorporating:

Artwork  3D-printed element and archive photographs. Recorded or read-aloud stories from veterans (sourced from archives and/or directly). Stories from today's children, reflecting on how they perceive remembrance and history, encouraging them to share these reflections with future generations.

The soundboard will be part of a celebratory event that will be open to Wolverhampton residents in November at Wolverhampton Arts Centre. 

What are we looking for?

We need an artist that has experience in design, painting, illustration etc. We want the soundboard to be a success and we want to create a legacy for both the Wolverhamtpon City but also for this project in itself. 

What difference will you make?

Your art work will be viewed and admired by few hundfed of poeple during the event, with further public visiting. It will be the 'backbone' of the soundboard and the first thing people will see :)
