What will you be doing?
We are in the process of formalising our governance structure to strengthen our impact and enable us to apply for external funding. We are now seeking dedicated volunteer Trustees/Directors to join our board and help guide the growth and sustainability of the organisation.
Attend quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person) Provide strategic input and oversight on the organisation’s direction Ensure the organisation operates within its legal and financial responsibilities as a CIC Director Support with funding applications and compliance where needed Act as an ambassador for Speak Up Now UK
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for people who: Are eligible to be a Director of a UK company (18+, not disqualified) Are aligned with the vision and values of Speak Up Now UK Can commit a few hours each quarter and engage via email or meetings Have experience in one or more of the following areas: community engagement, finance, fundraising, governance, lived experience of marginalisation, or creative industries
