Volunteer Health and Safety Volunteer

What will you be doing?

At Relate Mid & East Surrey, we offer life-changing counselling for couples, families, individuals, and young people. We also provide mediation and psychosexual therapy. Our team is warm, welcoming, and passionate about making a difference – and we’d love for you to be part of it! What’s the Role? We’re looking for a friendly and proactive Health & Safety Volunteer to help us make sure our charity is a safe and secure place for our staff, volunteers, and clients. This is a key role in keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring we meet health and safety regulations. If you care about people’s well-being and want to use (or build!) your skills in health and safety, this could be the perfect volunteer opportunity for you. We’re an inclusive and welcoming organisation, and we encourage applications from all backgrounds. A basic DBS check will be required due to the nature of our work.

What are we looking for?

You care about health and safety and want to make a positive impact. Some experience in health and safety, risk management, or a similar area would be great. You’re organised and pay attention to detail. You can work independently but also enjoy being part of a team. You communicate clearly and can help others understand health and safety in a practical way.
