Volunteer Trustee

What will you be doing?

Together Co was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that human connection matters. Inevery service we offer, every relationship we nurture, and every campaign we run, we areworking to build a world where no one feels alone. Our vision is thriving communities where everyone feels they belong. Our mission is to create connections that change lives. To support these aims we are keen to recruit Trustees with the following areas of expertise:- Finance and accountancy- Fundraising- Digital innovation- Legal- HR/People management- Health and social care  If successful, you will join a Trustee team who share a responsibility to support Together Co to:- increase our revenue generation including through fundraising and other forms of income generation- ensure we take full advantage of the opportunities that technology and good data management can bring- provide financial and accounting experience- strengthen our management of risk- improve our understanding of the needs of our service users- broaden our insight into the social and health care landscape. The charity is about to launch its new three year strategy, building on past achievements. which include securing our financial resilience; winning sector awards; piloting AI led innovation; and developing new ways to reach and help more than ever before. The strategy ahead is bold, underpinned by 4 strategic pillars to help drive the organisation forward:* Volunteering as a Superpower:  redefining volunteering as flexible, inclusive, and transformational.* Making connections accessible for all: removing barriers to connection through trauma-informed,inclusive support.* Organisation fit for the future: ensuring financial resilience, ethical innovation, and a thriving team.* Champions of social health: leading policy, research, and public understanding of connection ashealth. In return, we will ask you to commit to attend at least four Board meetings a year. As part of our Board you will oversee delivery of the strategy and meet operational need. This includes supporting the organisation to innovate, sustain financial resilience, and ensure our governance meets the organisation’s charitable objectives, legal and regulatory guidelines.
