What will you be doing?
We are paying far too much for our telecoms, and have limited time / resource / knowledge to research a new provider. Our in-house phones system is outdated, and probably unneccessary. We also have a very creaky (but functional) IT system, running on Windows 10 Desktop We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of IT systems - good at evaluating hardware, software and network infrastructure, to offer us some help with the following as a one-off project
Reduce outgoings on telecoms Review and advise on updating new in-house phones system on a very tight budget Advise on setting up new IT network, including purchse of laptop(s), properly integrated with our telecoms Review and advise on IT security
And then to offer ongoing support on an ad-hoc basis for IT issues - this is likely to be only an occasional need.
What are we looking for?
Demonstrable skills in: IT hardware and software (Windows based) Knowledge and understanding of telecoms providers and phone systems Cyber-security know-how
