Mid-Level Accelerator Instructor

Code First Girls is looking for committed and experienced technical individuals to become instructors for our remotely-accessible Mid-Level Accelerator (MLA) programme. Applicants should be able and willing to work daytime hours in India time zones and be fluent in English.

The Role: Our Mid Level Accelerator is open to women and non-binary people with a minimum 1.5+ years in a tech role who wish to upskill and progress to a mid-level developer role. The curriculum aims to improve their technical professional skills and leadership skills over the course of 16 weeks. It will focus on building a T-shaped skill set, building expertise in areas such as technical leadership, agility and automation, and guide students to create innovative and inclusive products.

Job Requirements: An India (or willing to work India daytime hours) based developer with 3+ years of experience in a professional setting. Fluent in English. Strong software development skills or experience. Experience working with Cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Pipelines. Comfortable troubleshooting installation and software issues on both Windows and Mac machines. Experience deploying code to production. Understanding of a product development lifecycle. Strong presentation skills. Ability to work well as part of an instructor team. Passion for/experience with teaching and mentoring.
