Role Summary

The V&A East Museum is excited to announce the opening of new positions for Floor Assistants at our new location in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, London. This role is crucial as we prepare to launch the 'The Music Is Black' exhibition, aiming to provide a world-class visitor experience.
The Role: As a Floor Assistant, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of exhibitions, ensuring they are fully prepared, safe, and presentable for visitors each morning before the museum opens. Your duties will also include working across all front of house functions such as retail, public programming, membership and ticket sales, and events. This role requires maintaining high standards of visitor care and safety, ensuring all visitors feel welcomed and included.
Job Requirements: We are seeking proactive self-starters with excellent communication skills who can work independently and as part of a team. Candidates should have significant lived experience in the surrounding boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham Forest. This local knowledge will help in building V&A East for and by the local communities.
