Chief of Staff at Fanalysis
We’re building the go-to platform for real football fans - a centralised home where trusted and passionate supporters can share their voices, insights, and emotions without being drowned out by pundits or fragmented across social media. Our mission is to amplify the perspectives of those who live and breathe the game, and to create a space where genuine fan sentiment drives the conversation. This is a really exciting opportunity to join the founding team and be a really important part of driving our success.
The role
We’re looking for a sharp, highly organised Chief of Staff to work directly with our CEO and help run the day-to-day of a growing football and fan-tech startup. This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their career (e.g. consulting, ops, or strategy background) to step into the engine room of a business and learn how everything works.
You’ll be the right hand to the CEO: helping plan priorities, create financial models, run with projects across departments, improve internal processes, and keep the wheels turning as we build and scale. From investor decks and forecasting to product reviews and launch logistics - if it’s important, you’ll likely be involved.
This is a brilliant role for someone bright, driven, and curious, who wants to learn across all functions while playing a genuinely impactful role from day one.
Responsibilities
- Act as a sparring partner and operational support to the CEO
- Build and update financial models to support decision-making, forecasts, and investor conversations
- Help prepare for and follow up on meetings including board meetings, investor calls and progress reviews
- Support in project-managing key cross-functional initiatives (e.g. product launches, partnerships, hiring rounds)
- Own internal comms, team updates, and tracking key priorities across the business
- Build simple systems and processes to help the team move faster
- Research, plan, and help solve a wide range of business problems from “how do we do this cheaper” to “what should we prioritise next”
- Explore and implement smart tools and AI to improve how we work
- Be the go-to person for things that don’t neatly sit in one team
About You
- You’ve got 2–5 years of experience, ideally in consulting, operations, strategy, or a high-growth startup
- You’re an Excel whizz — confident building and maintaining financial models and comfortable analysing numbers to inform decisions
- You’re incredibly organised and can juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
- You’re smart, curious, and confident getting up to speed on new topics quickly
- You have excellent written and verbal communication
- You’re proactive and unfazed by ambiguity, you spot problems and solve them without waiting to be asked
- You enjoy experimenting with new tools and technologies to make work smoother and smarter
- You care about football, fan culture, and building something that really matters to people
- Bonus if you’ve worked directly with a founder or exec team before
This is a full-time role based in London. Our office is in Soho and we believe in the benefits of working together, so ideally you’d be able to join us in the office at least 3 days a week.
