Role Summary:
- Design an annual calendar of high-quality events for Supporters and Members

Role Requirements:
- Degree education or equivalent experience
- Experience in managing large and small-scale events
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and health and safety guidelines
- Proficiency in managing delivery teams consisting of varying roles
- Strong understanding of event design and management
- Ability to manage a budget effectively
- Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills

The Masterplan will transform the Museum for the 21st century while staying open, maintaining the founding commitment to keep the collection safe and accessible to the public for generations to come.
The role: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing an annual calendar of high-quality events for Supporters and Members, making best use of resources to ensure Supporters feel valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering and managing the Member events programme, alongside liaising with wider Development with a particular focus on events for the Museum’s Patrons.
Job requirements: Educated to degree level or equivalent experience. Experience of managing both large and small-scale events. Experience of following relevant legislation and health and safety guidance, including preparing risk assessments. Able to manage delivery teams which may include freelancers, curators and volunteers. Strong understanding of event design, development, delivery and review. Experience of effectively managing a budget. Imaginative and engaging spoken and written communication skills. Excellent stakeholder relationship skills.

Additional details: We offer a flexible way of working scheme that allows our employees to work remotely in a way that suits them and the organisation. We would typically see this role as working on site about 3 days a week in addition to the ability to work events outside of normal office hours as required.
