Role Summary

- Successful candidates will receive training and support from either school staff or a King's Trust Youth Development Lead.
The King’s Trust is an organization that is committed to the welfare of children and young people. We are currently recruiting Education Mentors in Glasgow City Region, Edinburgh & Dundee. Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do, offering a vital network to young people facing significant barriers to jobs, education or training.
As an Education Mentor, you will be working directly with children and young people aged 11-18. Your role will involve supporting groups of young people within an educational setting to develop their confidence and skills and support their future employability. You will share your growth story and inspire and empower young people to raise their aspirations. We are particularly interested in individuals with a background in Hair & Beauty, Construction, Sports, Tech & Childcare.
Training will be provided and you will be supported throughout the whole programme by school staff or a King’s Trust Youth Development Lead. The role requires a minimum of 6 days of delivery during the academic year: August- June.
