Role Summary

Role Requirements

The Role: We are seeking two Assistant Registrars for our Loans Section, one on a permanent basis and another on a fixed-term basis until March 31, 2028. This role involves managing a caseload of short-term loan projects to exhibitions worldwide, including large-scale loans. You will ensure the safe transit and handling of objects, identify and mitigate risks, and maintain our collections management standards.

Job Requirements: Ideal candidates will have a background in Registrar, Exhibitions, or Collections, with experience in coordinating loans. Knowledge of the UK Government Indemnity Scheme, fine art insurance, and museum object transport is essential. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage high workloads under tight deadlines are crucial.
