Code First Girls are actively tackling the gender gap in tech, offering free education to women worldwide. Our ambition is to create one million opportunities for women to learn to code over the next five years, aiming to be the world’s first EdTech dedicated to women. As anEducation & Learning Manager, you will participate in product creation, development and review, freelancer performance management, coaching, instructor selection, and other tasks as guided by management.
- Role Requirements:
- Degree level education or higher
- Experience in teaching techniques, methods, strategies related to assessment and feedback
- Experience in project management, meeting deadlines, tracking budgets
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

As an Education & Learning Manager, you will be involved in product creation, development and review, freelancer performance management and development, interview coaching, instructor selection support across CFG programmes and general tasks as directed by Senior Managers/ Leads/ Heads of Department, Senior Leadership, and the CEO. You will have a strong passion to make CFG’s teaching, learning and education offering more effective and a keen interest in teaching, learning and education.
Job requirements include being educated to degree level or above, having experience and understanding of effective teaching techniques, methods and strategies in relation to assessment, feedback and effective schema, experience in facilitating and delivering engaging training workshops/classes, experience in project management, meeting deadlines and tracking budgets and excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Benefits include a salary of £34,000 - £38,000 DOE + opportunity for up to 10% bonus, dependent on company performance, annual leave of 20 days + 7 days over Christmas + 1 Special Occasion Day (+ 8 bank holiday days), parental leave of 16 weeks full pay for the primary caregiver, 6 weeks full pay for the secondary caregiver, flexible working, free CFGdegree education after working at CFG for 6 months, 6% matched pension, length of service benefits and mental health support.
