  • Physical stamina for long periods of standing/walking and safe lifting up to 30 pounds
  • A passion for health, wellness, or movement is an advantage
  • Comfort with technology is essential

Vivobarefoot is on a mission to change the toxic, sedentary lifestyles that are harming humans and the planet. We are excited to open our flagship store in SoHo, NYC and are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to energize and lead our store floor.

The role: As the Assistant Store Manager, you will support all aspects of store operations, from leading the floor and coaching the team to creating standout customer experiences. You will handle daily customer interactions with care and professionalism, support the team in sales and performance, and maintain high standards across safety and housekeeping. Your responsibilities will also include stock management, visual merchandising, and supporting local events and community-building moments.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of retail leadership experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with operations such as cash handling and scheduling. A passion for health, wellness, or movement is a plus. You should be tech-friendly, able to work a flexible 40-hour week, including weekends, and capable of occasional out-of-state travel. Physical requirements include the ability to stand/walk for extended periods and safely lift up to 30 pounds.
