The Role: As a Lead Product Manager at tem, you will hold a pivotal role as the single accountable product owner for a critical product area focused on customers who sell their energy. This role involves overseeing product strategy, workflow design, systems and data, cross-functional delivery, and AI-enabled optimization and automation. You will collaborate closely with peers in engineering, data, go-to-market, and commercial teams, operating with a high level of influence and expectations.
Responsibilities: You are expected to own the strategy and roadmap for your product area from end to end, directly linking your work to key company drivers such as revenue, retention, scale, and credibility. Your tasks include framing the right problems, separating symptoms from root causes, validating with research and data, and applying AI to enhance workflows and decision-making processes. Additionally, you will design systems that are reliable under real-world constraints and set clear product narratives to enable cross-functional teams to make fast, informed decisions.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience as a Lead IC PM in complex enterprise domains, such as B2B, regulated, data-heavy, platform, or systems products. You should have a proven ability to handle ambiguous, high-stakes problems and create clear strategies and execution plans for enterprise-grade experiences. A strong intuition for foreseeing fail points, edge cases, and operational realities is crucial, along with being AI-native, AI-literate, and AI-critical.
