The British Museum is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our Design & Interpretation Studio. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a hybrid work arrangement, requiring at least three days per week on-site in Bloomsbury, London. The role comes with a competitive salary of £35,928 per annum.

About the role: As a Mid-weight Graphic Designer, you will be instrumental in taking projects from concept to final execution. Your responsibilities will include leading and developing creative projects, producing high-quality visual approaches, and delivering medium-to-large design projects on time and within budget. You will collaborate across internal teams and external partners to ensure high-quality project delivery and will be responsible for setting creative and technological standards in the museum.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have strong creative capabilities, an exceptional portfolio, and proven experience in high-quality design across multiple formats. Proficiency in Adobe CC, illustration, motion, and image-editing tools is essential. You should be able to manage multiple projects independently, meet deadlines under pressure, and maintain meticulous attention to detail. We are looking for a collaborative, proactive, and open individual who contributes positively to studio culture and builds strong working relationships.
