The British Museum is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Design & Interpretation Studio. This role offers the opportunity to engage in high-quality design work across various mediums including print, digital, spatial, and narrative applications. You will play a crucial role in the rollout of the Museum's new brand identity.
The role: As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will support design projects from early concept through to final delivery. Working closely with graphic, 3D, and interpretation designers, you will help create contemporary and purposeful outputs that reflect the richness of the Museum's displays and collection and enhance visitor experience. This is a hands-on and creatively varied role that requires at least 3 days per week on-site under a hybrid working arrangement.
Job requirements: We are looking for someone with strong creative skills and a compelling portfolio that demonstrates clear design thinking from concept to completion. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is essential. You should be comfortable presenting ideas and managing multiple project deadlines with meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, open, respectful, and proactive, with the energy and ambition to contribute positively to the studio culture and the Museum's evolving visual identity.
