What will you be doing?

Our organisation has seen rapid growth over the last decade expanding from a Lincoln base to incorporate North and South Kesteven in 2016 and then Boston and South Holland in 2018. We are now starting an exciting expansion into the wider Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire communities and are looking to take on new trustees to play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the organisation as well as to support our vision of improving the lives of older people. We are looking to welcome new trustees with skills and experience in one or more of the following areas:

Governance IT Commercial Marketing

We are a brand partner of the national Age UK network but work as an independent organisation to support the wider health and social care needs across Lincolnshire. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants from our newly expanded areas of East and West Lindsey as well as North Lincolnshire.  Ready to make a meaningful difference for older people across Lincolnshire? What are we looking for?

Marketing & Communications Trustee We’re seeking someone who can help us build trust, strengthen awareness, and ensure our mission resonates widely.  We welcome experience such as:

Developing and executing integrated marketing or brand strategies Leading or advising on social media strategy and audience growth Creating impactful storytelling that champions older people's voices

IT & Digital Transformation Trustee We're looking for a digital champion to help us harness the power of technology to deliver smarter, more responsive services. Ideal skills and experience include:

Developing or advising on charity-wide IT strategy Overseeing cybersecurity frameworks and compliance (e.g. GDPR, ISO standards) Leading digital transformation or change management in organisations Advising on data architecture, dashboarding, and analytics to inform strategic decisions

We welcome IT professionals across sectors who understand how tech can drive equity, efficiency, and excellence. Governance Trustee You’ll help safeguard our integrity and support the Board to act with clarity and accountability, ensuring robust governance for services supporting older people across Lincolnshire. Relevant experience might include:

Serving on charity, public, or academic boards or committees Advising on policies that support good governance and regulatory compliance (e.g. Charity Commission guidance, safeguarding frameworks) Conducting governance reviews or overseeing risk audits

Trustee with Commercial Acumen We’re seeking a commercially minded Trustee to help strengthen our income generation, including support for our six charity shops. We’d welcome experience in: ·        Retail operations, shop management, or multi-site trading ·        Commercial partnerships, sponsorships, or earned income model

This is an opportunity for individuals to play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the organisation, as well as to make a positive impact on the lives of older people in our area. Our Trustees provide appropriate leadership and support to the Executive Team to enable Age UK Lincolnshire to continue to deliver the excellent services currently provided ensuring that the organisation continually develops and evolves to meet more of the needs of local older people. Age UK Lincolnshire has an increasingly high national and local profile and our Trustees are vital in supporting the wider strategic ambitions of the organisation and ensuring the reputation and influence of the organisation is maintained and enhanced. The organisation is a member of the National Age UK Network and is actively involved in the work of the national team both operationally and influencing the strategic direction of the organisation. Age UK Lincolnshire is very involved in the wider health and care system across Lincolnshire and is seen as a key delivery partner working alongside the main NHS and Social Care providers. Your support and commitment will ensure that we continue to provide and extend our range of much needed support and services to our beneficiaries.
