What are we looking for?

We are looking for one or more volunteers who can offer us 2-3 hours a week on a rolling basis. This can be flexible though. We would be happy to work with two volunteers: one with a website focus and one with a social media focus, depending on expertise, availability and capacity. Our ideal volunteer(s) will:

Have experience of digital marketing and content creation for websites and/or social media. Have experience of managing website administration and/social media accounts.  Be kind and compassionate and align with Footprints’ values of community, respect and inclusivity. Have an eye for detail Some design experience

Our direct support services (such as befriending and online groups) are all delivered by volunteers with lived experience of twin or triplet loss.  Whilst this is not a specific requirement for these volunteering roles, we would be particularly keen to hear from people with lived experience of baby loss, or an understanding and sensitivity to how this can affect bereaved families.

What difference will you make?

As a new charity, volunteering your time and experience will make a huge impact. Our co-founders Sharon and Suzie have many years of previous experience supporting bereaved families of twins, triplets and multiples, prior to launching Footprints in Jan 2024.   Our website and social media presence is a key way for bereaved families to find out about us and our services, and there is so much potential to grow and develop our presence so that it reaches those who need to access our vital support.  “I will forever be grateful to the founders of the Footprints charity for nurturing me through the toughest times of my life.” Bereaved parent.
