Learning Designer - English

As a Learning Designer - English at Busuu, you’ll work on shaping an impactful language learning experience for over 120+ million learners in over 190 countries. You will be responsible for designing, maintaining and improving our English content, ensuring that learners can progress and apply their language skills in a real-world and professional context. In this role, you will combine pedagogical expertise, learner data, and competitive insights to create effective, engaging, and accessible content. You will also contribute to the evolution of Busuu’s AI driven features, ensuring that AI enhances the learning journey while crafting a cohesive meaningful experience for the learners.

Essential skills and experience include a Masters-level qualification in languages, linguistics or education, proven experience teaching English as a foreign language, experience creating lesson content and planning your own lessons, deep understanding of English grammar and language systems, interest in and / or experience with AI in education, and a data-driven mindset to make the best decisions for learners needs. Both native and non-native speakers of English are welcome to apply, but a C2 level mastery of the language is expected.
