Role Summary

Role Requirements

The role entails joining the Therapeutics team within the wider Vector Control and Therapeutics team reporting to the Research Lead, Vector Control & Therapeutics. This is a multidisciplinary collaborative and enthusiastic team focused on supporting science to bring innovative solutions to combat infectious disease in the most affected communities.
Job requirements include an advanced degree in the life sciences (e.g. medicinal chemistry, infectious disease drug development, or other infectious disease relevant degree) or equivalent demonstrable experience. Significant expertise in Infectious Disease research related to therapeutic R&D or an understanding of interdisciplinary areas that contribute to drug discovery and development for anti-infectives. Strong verbal and written communication skills and be adept at influencing internal and external stakeholders and delivering impactful presentations, reports or articles. Ability to handle competing priorities with high organizational skills. Experience in research project management and grant administration. The ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments.
