One Acre Fund is an organization established in 2006 with the mission to equip 5.5 million smallholder farmers across nine African countries with the tools and knowledge for productive farming. We provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a range of other agricultural services boosting their income and building resilience. We're inviting dynamic professionals to serve as Rotational Associates or Managers for a period of 6-12 months.

Role Summary:

  • Serve in strategic and operational roles to gain exposure to core functions such as field operations, business development, innovation and internal systems.
  • You'll transition into a long-term role based on your performance and fit.

Role Requirements:

  • A foundation of relevant experience and skills, irrespective of your professional background
  • Associate level: 2–5 years of relevant experience
  • Manager level: 5+ years of relevant experience

About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent, while permanently improving their resilience.

The Role We are seeking dynamic and versatile professionals to serve in a rotational capacity over a 6–12 month period. In this capacity, you will take on strategic and operational tasks across core functions such as field operations, business development, innovation, and internal systems, building critical context. The rotation is designed to provide a strong general foundation ahead of transitioning into a long-term role based on performance and fit.

Responsibilities Rotational Associates and Managers will be placed based on their strengths and alignment with these priority responsibilities. Cross-Department Support, Partnership Development, Financial & Data Analysis, Systems and Operations, Field Leadership.

Qualifications A foundation of relevant experience and skills, regardless of your professional background. We welcome applicants from a wide range of fields, including consulting, development, humanitarian work, finance, HR, impact, sales, innovation, and science. Associate level: 2–5 years of relevant experience; Manager level: 5+ years of relevant experience.
