Organisation summary: Founders4Schools (F4S) is an esteemed education charity that has connected over 750,000 students with business leaders in their local communities. We're seeking to recruit Campus Ambassadors from master's students to inspire the new generation of entrepreneurs through our Oak North Startup Speaker Series.
Role Summary:

  • Lead business outreach
  • Build relationships with local startups.
  • Turn insights into influence by sharing your experiences.
  • Advise F4S on required skills in the startup sector.

Role Requirements:

  • Must be a master's-level student studying in the UK.
  • Must be a skilled communicator and comfortable using LinkedIn professionally.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Must be living and studying in Newcastle.

  • Submit a 150-word pitch on how you would persuade a local founder to mentor young people.
  • Provide your LinkedIn URL.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed from 8th September 2025.

Campus Entrepreneur Ambassador [NEWCASTLE]


Honorarium: £1,000 | ~2 hours/week | September 2025 – May 2026

Founders4Schools (F4S) is an award-winning education charity that has already connected over 750,000 students with the businesses shaping the future of their local communities. Through our Oak North Startup Speaker Series, we are seeking to appoint 12 master’s students to act as Campus Ambassadors—curating events and amplifying entrepreneurial insights to inspire secondary school students in six UK cities.

What you’ll do

Lead business outreach
Build relationships with local startups and scale-up businesses, encouraging their staff to share their career journeys with local school students.

Turn insights into influence.
Share top role takeaways through short LinkedIn posts and a quarterly Startup Career Briefing, helping more young people see themselves in entrepreneurial roles in the exciting startups in your community..

Advise F4S HQ:
Feed in real-time insight to help F4S better understand what skills are needed most for roles in the startup and scaleup sector.

What you’ll gain


  • A founder-level network: Reasons to connect with 50+ startup and scale-up leaders, investors, and innovators in your city.
  • Credible experience: Quantifiable results for your CV, LinkedIn, or visa application—every student reached is tracked.
  • Coaching and support: Access to F4S proprietary databases, mentors and comms experts to help you grow your employability skills.
  • A £1,000 honorarium, paid in three instalments for reaching monthly milestones.

Who you are


  • A master’s-level student (MBA, MSc, MEng, MDes, etc.) enrolled at a UK university.
  • A confident communicator who can cold-outreach a founder and have a meeting in the diary by the end of the week.
  • Energised by entrepreneurship, social mobility, mentoring young people AND able to commit ~2 hours per week.
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn as a professional outreach and storytelling tool.



Eligibility


  • You must have the right to work in the UK (Student Visa holders welcome).
  • You must be studying and living in Newcastle
