What will you be doing?

What will you be doing? Volunteer Recruitment and Onboarding

Develop and execute strategies to attract a diverse pool of volunteers. Organize onboarding sessions to ensure volunteers understand the organization's mission, values, and expectations. Match volunteers with roles that align with their skills, interests, and availability

Training and Development

Coordinate  training programmes to equip volunteers with the necessary skills and knowledge. Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and resources to ensure volunteers feel confident and capable in their roles.

Engagement and Retention

Foster a positive and inclusive environment that values and respects volunteer contributions. Organise regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and social events to maintain engagement and morale. Recognize and celebrate volunteer achievements through formal and informal methods.

Process Improvement and Feedback

Evaluate the volunteer experience regularly, gathering feedback to identify areas for improvement. Implement innovative practices to enhance volunteer satisfaction and retention.

Communication and Collaboration

Act as the primary point of contact for volunteers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Work closely with organizational leaders and staff to integrate volunteers effectively into programs and initiatives. Ensure consistent communication through newsletters, updates, and social media platforms.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years professional experience:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and inspire trust. Experience in volunteer management, community engagement, or a related field. Organisational and time-management abilities, with an eye for detail. Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability to handle diverse challenges. A passion for the organisation's mission and a commitment to making a difference.
