Volunteer Social Media Assistant

What will you be doing?

Create engaging and mission-aligned content (graphics, captions, reels, stories) Assist in planning and scheduling regular posts using tools like Canva and Buffer/Later/Hootsuite Support campaign launches and online awareness days/events Help monitor social media channels and engage with our online community Stay on top of trends and suggest creative ways to reach new audiences

What are we looking for?

Strong interest in social justice, equity, and activism Good writing and visual communication skills Familiarity with platforms like Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, and LinkedIn Experience with Canva or similar design tools Knowledge of social media scheduling tools. Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player Able to give around 3–5 hours per week
