What will you be doing?

With an aspirational new five-year strategic plan the Board of YCT are looking to expand to include people with experience in Marketing, Communications and IT to ensure ongoing effective delivery. YCT has grown into a medium-sized charity over the past few years and is intent on further expansion and diversification. Although we currently work with around 1,500 children and young people each year there are many more needing our support. Since 1988 YCT has sought to ensure children, young people and the families and professionals around them can access effective and meaningful well-being support and has grown into the responsive and respected charity it is today. The current board of trustees have been impressive in steering YCT through many challenges with the global pandemic being the most recent of these. However, with continued growth, it is important that YCT continues to seek skilled and enthusiastic individuals to join the board.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for up to three new trustees who have experience in fundraising, marketing, finance, IT or communications. If you are new to volunteering for boards we have an experienced group of trustees who you would be able to learn from so no board experience is necessary.

What difference will you make?

This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our support for the children, young people and families we work with. As a trustee, you will have a real opportunity to offer your unique skill set to help the strategic progression of the charity.
