What will you be doing?

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Program Coordinator to design, develop, and deliver workshops aimed at educating children in Year 6 and students in secondary school (Years 9-12) on mental health awareness and well-being. This is a voluntary role with expenses covered, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives.

What are we looking for?

Key Responsibilities ·       Outreach and Scheduling: o   Initiate and maintain contact with schools to promote and coordinate workshop dates o   Work closely with school staff to understand student needs and tailor sessions ·       Program Development: o   Design and develop age-appropriate mental health workshops for primary and secondary school students. o   Collaborate with mental health professionals, educators, and community members to create engaging and impactful content. ·       Workshop Delivery: o   Facilitate workshops in schools, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for learning and discussion. o   Use innovative teaching methods to address key topics such as stress management, emotional resilience, and mental health awareness. ·       Partnership Building: o   Liaise with schools, teachers, and parents to tailor workshops to the needs of each audience. o   Build relationships with local organizations to enhance program reach and effectiveness. ·       Evaluation and Reporting: o   Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to assess workshop impact. o   Prepare reports to inform future program improvements and funding opportunities.
