Role Summary

  • Deliver key internal and external financial reporting promptly and accurately

The role: The V&A is looking to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant. This role is responsible for delivering key internal and external reporting on a timely and accurate basis along with responsibility for maintaining and developing the short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts. You will also be responsible for accounting for publishing sales and stock management from a financial reporting perspective. You will be an exam qualified accountant, with the ability to present complex financial information, to both a financial and a non-financial audience. You will also be able to understand financial processes and underlying principles including data structures within an accounting package. Experience of communicating clearly, with the ability to adapt your communication style for different groups is also key.
