What will you be doing?
The Bursary Manager/Trustee will: Ensure the smooth running of the bursary applications process for recipients, delivery partners and the bursary administrator Oversee applications where required, approving invoices and tracking budgets Monitor and refine the bursaries criteria and process to ensure the Trust are targeting bursaries effectively Work with:
The Bursary Administrator to assist with individual applications, refer approvals to the board where required, check and approve invoices The Treasurer to monitor and report spend against budget The Music Education Trustee to ensure that the criteria and process for CKT's bursaries maximise CKT’s impact, also in regard to other delivery partners/direct applications The marketing and communications trustee/manager to provide details of bursary recipients for newsletters The delivery partners (Surrey Arts and other music lesson providers) to identify and implement any process changes Other partner organisations (Future Talent, AYM) to agree and monitor bursaries offered The CKT board to recommend process changes
Attend and Contribute to board meetings as one of CKT’s Trustees and Directors. Perform such other tasks and activities for CKT as skills and time allow

The role holder will be responsible for ensuring that the funds we raise are spent effectively, in accordance with our aims, and that the whole process works efficiently for all those involved, to assist and encourage applications from teachers and from those young people we wish to help.
