What will you be doing?
We’re building an AI-powered truth library for environmental research. To enrich our content pipeline, we need to connect to Open Access APIs from scientific publishers. What You'll Do
Develop API adapters to pull research articles, metadata, and datasets from open-access APIs (CrossRef, PMC, Springer, etc.) Handle authentication, rate limiting, pagination, retries Map JSON/XML fields into our internal metadata format Integrate with our AWS event-based architecture:

Your Tech Stack
Languages: Python or Node.js Cloud: AWS Lambda, EventBridge, S3, SNS, SQS, Step Function, CloudWatch APIs: RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, OpenAPI/Swagger DevOps: Git, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline (CI/CD)
Ideal Profile
Strong hands-on experience with consuming and integrating external APIs Comfortable working with serverless infrastructure or cloud-based pipelines Willing to collaborate asynchronously with cross-functional teams Bonus: experience in scientific/academic metadata structures
