What will you be doing?

About us Renaissance – UK is a North West based charity, currently operating across Lancashire, Blackpool, and Blackburn with Darwen. We specialise in community focused substance use and sexual health services. We specialise in supporting individuals to reduce harm, we offer specialist support and we aim to move people forward in their lives by means of empowerment. Our values include:

Key tasks include:

Support clients with benefit advice, PIP claims, Universal Credit claims among others. Keep all information given or discussed within the service confidential. Attend relevant training sessions . Demonstrate the organisations values and principals in your actions and behaviours.

Key skills required:

Friendly and polite Non-judgemental A full understanding of client confidentiality Listening skills Emotionally mature Reliable and trustworthy Understanding of, or ability to learn, personal and professional boundaries Ability to take direction Awareness of personal and professional boundaries Basic IT skills Previous experience as a benefit advisor
