We are excited to invite a talented Creative Lead to join our rapidly growing team at Runna, a leading training platform for runners. Our organisation is on a mission to help everyday runners become outstanding by providing an innovative app that offers world-class training, coaching, and community support. Recently, we closed a $6.5 million funding round led by JamJar, with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex, and Creator Ventures. In 2024, we were recognized by Apple as one of three global finalists for the iPhone App of the Year, highlighting the impact and innovation of our platform. Now, in 2025, we have been acquired by Strava, which accelerates our growth and ambition to become the top global training platform for millions of runners.

Our team is passionate, creative, and curious, dedicated to building something meaningful with lasting impact. As part of our in-house Creative team, you will work alongside producers, strategists, and UGC managers who excel at creating engaging content for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. We value bold ideas and testing innovative approaches to content creation.

The role involves taking full ownership of Runna’s performance creative function. You will set the strategic vision, manage cross-functional production, and develop high-performing creative assets across multiple channels. Reporting to Laura, our Head of Performance Marketing, you will lead the end-to-end creative strategy aimed at improving customer acquisition costs (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV). Your responsibilities include building and managing a quarterly creative roadmap aligned with channel priorities and business goals, overseeing the development and execution of creative briefs, and line-managing internal and external producers working on static, video, and UGC content.

A key part of your role will be to evolve a robust creative testing framework, scaling successful ideas and cutting underperformers. You will also explore and implement AI and automation tools to enhance production efficiency. Ensuring alignment and effective communication between the Creative and Paid Media teams will be essential to deliver results.

Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or paid social media, with proven expertise across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Proficiency in Figma is required for mapping ideas and leading creative brainstorms. Experience managing complex workflows and cross-functional teams, along with a deep understanding of UGC, ad testing, and best practices in performance creative, are essential. Strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation are highly valued. Bonus points are given for backgrounds in fitness, health, or lifestyle brands, and experience sourcing UGC creators at scale.

Our benefits package includes a salary of £60,000 - £70,000, private health insurance, a workplace pension scheme, and various wellness and lifestyle perks such as Strava and Headspace memberships, flexible working arrangements, holiday entitlement, and annual allowances for gear and events. We also support inclusive fertility and family-forming benefits through Carrot.

The interview process is designed to be straightforward and engaging, involving a screening call, an intro call, a take-home task, interviews with key team members, and a final in-person meeting at our London office.

To apply, please submit your application through our Workable career hub. We are unable to accept applications outside this platform. For further questions or information, contact [email removed - click apply for more details]. Please note, we are unable to sponsor visas for this role.
