Volunteer Ad hoc Information Technology Support

What will you be doing?

The IT support volunteer will provide technical assistance to With Music In Mind (WMIM)'s small team as needed, to ensure the smooth running of the organisation in relation to IT, helping to deliver a consistent, secure and efficient service. The role is flexible, but volunteers may be involved in the following:

resolving and troubleshooting technical issues disseminating information and providing tips on software use undertaking health checks, examining current software systems and advising on potential improvements to improve efficiency, ease of use, updates and security supporting the maintenance of WMIM's devices and software, to prevent disruptions supporting website updates

The role will be carried out either remotely or occasionally at our office base in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan - for this reason we are ideally looking for someone local to us.

What are we looking for?

Knowledgeable and confident in using, maintaining and troubleshooting a range of IT systems and software (particularly Microsoft Office and Teams).  Able to work well with the small team, supporting and advising appropriately on any improvements, including related to efficiency and security.
