What will you be doing?
Help us bring our mission to life through engaging blog content. You will write blog posts to help share our organisation’s voice with the wider public. These will mainly include insightful articles about key issues in our field to accompany videos we are making on the same subjects, but may also could include:
Spotlight stories on individuals we’ve supported Behind-the-scenes posts on our team, projects, or events Updates on developments in our work or the wider sector
We will provide the ideas and background for each blog, and you’ll bring them to life in an engaging, reader-friendly style. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure that the tone aligns with our values and mission.The number of blogs you are available to write, and over which time period is flexible to your capacity.
What are we looking for?
We’re seeking someone who has:
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely for a broad audience An understanding of how to tailor tone and content for digital platforms (knowledge of SEO would be a great addition) A keen eye for detail and accuracy A commitment to inclusion, representation, and ethical storytelling
Experience writing for blogs or online publications is essential, but you don’t need to be a professional writer – just someone with a passion for communicating ideas clearly and compellingly.
