What will you be doing?

We are breaking barriers to employment for struggling jobseekers across the UK. We support capable people who are being shut out of the job market due to age (too old / too young), background, lack of exact experience, or imperfect career paths. We do this through our Personalised Job Search Support and our innovative, gap-bridging Practice Hub.  We are urgently looking for experienced social media marketers to help us gain more visibility and traction.  We would like the volunteer to: 

Create, post and manage quality social media content (written, visual, video) that educates our jobseeker audience, promotes our offerings and supports our fundraising efforts Increase our levels of audience engagement including likes, comments and reposts Help us grow our existing following across LinkedIn and our new YouTube, Facebook and Instagram accounts Help us grow our email subscriber list through social media activities Get involved in exciting initiatives such as the launch of a podcast

You will be working with our Director who will share our social media strategies, and support you to achieve success in your role. 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer who has experience:

Creating and posting consistent content across social media platforms Creating and editing video reels Using Canva to create and edit graphics and videos

The volunteer should also have/be: 

Accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to quickly understand the needs of our team / organisation / users Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements Understands the resource constraints of a small not-for-profit and is able to work with these Open to feedback Collaborative Willing and able to work within virtual teams and contribute to team goals
