The role: As a Patrons Coordinator, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing the British Museum's Patrons Programme. This includes diversifying and ensuring the smooth operation of the Patrons Events Programme, building strong relationships with the Museum's Patrons and Departmental Supporter Groups, and being the primary contact for Patron communications and events. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who is keen on working in engagement, events, and supporter communications.
Job requirements: The ideal candidate should understand the importance of Fundraising Departments in organizations like the British Museum and have prior experience in a professional office or customer-facing role, preferably in a Development/Fundraising office. Proficiency in IT and CRM databases, particularly Raisers Edge, is desirable. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. The role also requires flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends.
