Role Summary

- Availability to work evenings and occasional weekends.

As a Patrons Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding the Museum's Patrons Programme. Reporting to the Senior Patrons Manager, your responsibilities will include driving income growth, maintaining high retention rates, and serving as the primary liaison for most Patrons groups. You will work closely with the Senior Patrons Manager, Patrons Coordinator, and colleagues within the Development, Events, and Supporter Engagement departments to enhance the success of the Patrons Programme and provide leadership in the absence of the Senior Manager.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in fundraising, membership, or patron management, and a history of meeting ambitious income targets. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of fundraising structures within large organizations like the British Museum and experience in building relationships with high-net-worth individuals. You should possess exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, be IT literate with experience in CRM systems like Raiser's Edge, and be available to work evenings and occasional weekends.
