What will you be doing?

You will provide support for the fundraising team who are key to securing funds for the restoration of the Wilts & Berks canal. You will: Keep our grant tracking system (Grantseeker) up to date Create a monthly report on grant progress Join a short weekly team call (30 mins) Occasionally help with drafting small grant applications. There is flexibility in the role for a competent, organised person, and the key deliverable will be keeping our team informed of successful grants.

What are we looking for?

Excellent wordprocessing, excel skills and a knowledge of databases.  Training will be provided on our system.   Organised and experienced in report writing.   Comfortable working within a team.   Good command of the english language.   Proven skills required in these areas.  Local knowledge of the area through which the canal route runs would be helpful but is not essential i.e. Wiltshire and south Oxfordshire.

What difference will you make?

You will be part of a passionate team of volunteers currently restoring 70 miles of canal, running from Semington in the southwest to Abingdon in the northeast. Your support will provide vital help to our fundraising team and help secure grants for future projects.
