Organisation summary: The Salty Pelican is a retreat where guests can connect with each other through activities centred on health and wellness rather than partying. Role Summary:
- Helping with front desk duties and organizing daily activities

We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our teamer crew—the heart and soul of The Salty Pelican. As a teamer, you’ll create an amazing atmosphere for our guests, keep the retreat tidy, answer guest questions, and bring positive energy to all activities, from breakfast to yoga sessions.
If you’re after a surf camp focused on partying, we’re probably not the right fit. But if you’re passionate about yoga, enjoy connecting with people, and want to be part of a friendly team, you’ll love it here.
Nuts & Bolts:
> Help with front desk duties and organize daily activities.
> Support guests during their stay, ensuring they have a great experience.
> Participate in and help with our yoga, meditation, hiking and group dinner programs.
> Maintain the retreat’s welcoming vibe by keeping things neat and engaging with guests.
Who Should Apply:
We welcome students, long-term travelers, and anyone excited about exploring new places and contributing to our unique atmosphere. A minimum commitment of 3 months is preferred.
Play & Livin
Play: Enjoy the perks of being on-site with opportunities to join retreat activities like evening dinners, guided meditation hikes, and nature tours. While surf lessons are for guests, you can participate in daily yoga and meditation classes when not working. Surfboards are available for personal use at some retreats.
Livin: Stay in a private shared staff room with complimentary daily breakfast and up to 4 dinners weekly. You’ll also have access to equipped kitchens at most of our properties to prepare your own meals.
