What will you be doing?
Prison Family Support is currently a CIC and in the process of converting in to a CIO. The organisation has been operational for 32 months and delivers a thriving and productive service at HMP Lewes. We are looking for a third member of the board of trustees to support with the running of the soon to be CIO, with a particular focus on finances and funding. Experience of the criminal justice system is an advantage but not essential.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have expertise in funding and finance. With an appreciation of the essential need for family related support around parents in prison.

This trustee with a focus on finance will have a significant impact by ensuring financial sustainability, providing oversight and guidance, helping to secure funding through strategic planning, strengthing accountability, and enabling growth. This trustees contribution will directly support positive child- parent relationships, which are vital for children's wellbeing and reducing reoffending.
