This exciting role offers the opportunity to lead and develop an innovative membership strategy aimed at achieving ambitious population and income targets. You will be responsible for accelerating member acquisition, delivering compelling experiences, fostering immediate engagement, creating long-term loyalty, and managing membership operations. As a key advocate for membership, you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to promote the importance of membership and support our new brand framework and CRM programme. Your efforts will help increase engagement and support for Kew as a charity, aligning with our proposition of ‘creating a thriving planet, powered by plants and fungi.’
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading a significant membership or loyalty scheme. You should be skilled in turning audience understanding and data into actionable plans for growth. Creativity, analytical thinking, and commercial acumen are essential. Strong project management, negotiation, and persuasion skills are required to work effectively with others and deliver outstanding membership experiences.
This role is based at Kew Gardens with the option of regular home working, subject to operational needs. The position offers a competitive salary of £65,000 to £69,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
