Director/VP of Foundations & Philanthropic Partnerships

The role of Director/VP of Foundations & Philanthropic Partnerships is a key leadership position within our Commercial Team. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships with philanthropic organizations, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals. Your work will involve identifying new business opportunities, managing existing high-value relationships, and expanding Apolitical’s impact through collaborations with global foundations such as Google.org, Rockefeller Foundation, and Bezos Earth Fund.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of philanthropy and government innovation. You will play a crucial role in securing funding that enables Apolitical to continue its mission of empowering governments worldwide. The role involves proactive business development, account management, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and strategic positioning.

Candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of securing funding and partnerships within the philanthropic sector. A strong network and understanding of the sector are essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple workstreams and working collaboratively across teams. A passion for systemic change and belief in the power of government to solve societal challenges are important.
