What will you be doing?

DescriptionThe Hub @ Toothill CIC is creating a vibrant, inclusive community space, and we are looking for a short-term Events Officer volunteer to plan and deliver fundraising and engagement events. You will play a key role in making our events enjoyable, well-organised, and impactful, helping raise funds and awareness ahead of our official launch in March 2026. Responsibilities

Plan, organise, and coordinate fundraising events, including Christmas, New Year, and two additional pre-launch events. Liaise with volunteers, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth event delivery. Support marketing and promotion of events through social media, newsletters, and local networks. Ensure events run safely and comply with relevant health and safety requirements. Track event outcomes and provide feedback to the team.

What are we looking for?

Experience in event planning or coordination, ideally for community or fundraising events. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to work with volunteers and engage the local community. Creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving skills. (Desirable) Knowledge of budgeting, risk assessment, or marketing for events.
