Volunteer Content Creator: Public-Facing Video & Reels

What will you be doing?

DescriptionThe Hub @ Toothill CIC is developing a vibrant community space that connects people through arts, culture, learning, and tailored support. We are looking for a volunteer Content Creator to produce short-form video content that reflects the voice of the community, highlights events, and engages residents online. Role:You’ll support the project by filming, editing, and posting engaging videos and Reels for social media. Your work will help bring The Hub to life digitally, showcase community stories, and encourage local participation. Responsibilities:

Film and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms. Develop storytelling content that reflects the community’s voice and activities. Collaborate with other content creators and volunteers. Ensure content aligns with The Hub’s values of community, inclusion, and creativity. Occasionally visit The Hub @ Toothill (SN5 8SX) to capture footage on site.

What are we looking for?

Skills, Experience and Qualities

Experience creating and editing videos for social media platforms. Understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video trends. Creative storytelling skills to produce fun, engaging, and authentic content. Confident filming in community settings and engaging with local people. Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with volunteers and staff. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Ideally based near Swindon, with availability for occasional visits to the Hub. Desirable: lived experience of Toothill or strong local knowledge.
