What will you be doing?
As a Trustee with a focus on fundraising, you'll bring strategic insight and practical guidance to help grow and diversify our income at a time when the charity sector is facing a number of funding challenges. You’ll offer support and advice to the staff fundraising committee, cultivate partnerships and champion the charity, helping to reach new audiences in order to attract funding. You must have a passion for our cause and understand the importance of good governance, for which the Board have collective responsibility, You will have a strong interest in helping to prevent domestic abuse and recognise that it can affect anyone. We welcome interest from applicants with lived experience. Appointments are for an initial three years with the option of an additional three years. Reasonable Trustee expenses are remunerated.

This is a voluntary, part-time role that will include around 5 Trustee Board meetings each year. The role is ideally suited to someone with:
A background in charity fundraising or business development Strong networks and a passion for building connections A commitment to equality, inclusion, and the values of our charity Willingness to act as an ambassador for the charity and promote its work
