Role Summary:

  • Leading the production and delivery of Limited Editions, merchandise, and new product ranges
  • Driving the evolution of Serpentine’s retail offer
  • Collaborating with prominent artists and suppliers
  • Managing the Enterprise Coordinator, and supporting online and onsite sales;

Role Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in production management, ideally within art, design, or luxury goods
  • Experience optimizing processes, workflows, and supplier relationships
  • A commercial mindset with experience in shaping product strategies
  • Proven ability to collaborate with artists and negotiate with partners
  • Knowledge of retail systems, ideally including Shopify
  • Excellent communication and people management skills

We’re looking for a creative and commercially minded production specialist to help shape the future of Serpentine’s retail enterprise.

This is a unique opportunity to join one of the UK’s most influential contemporary arts organisations at a pivotal time of growth and innovation. We’re seeking an Editions Production Manager to lead the production and delivery of Serpentine’s Limited Editions, merchandise, and new product ranges – ensuring they are produced to the highest quality, delivered on time, and aligned with our artists’ visions.

As Editions Production Manager, you’ll drive the evolution of Serpentine’s retail offer, helping us reach new audiences and strengthen revenue streams. From streamlining production processes to collaborating with world-renowned artists and innovative suppliers, you’ll ensure our products meet demand, inspire collectors and visitors, and reflect Serpentine’s commitment to creativity and excellence. You’ll also manage the Enterprise Coordinator, supporting online and onsite sales and helping to elevate the overall retail experience.

We’re after a dynamic production and retail specialist with:


  • Proven expertise in production management, ideally within art, design, or luxury goods.
  • Experience optimising processes, workflows, and supplier relationships to deliver on time and on budget.
  • A commercial mindset – confident using audience insights and market trends to shape product strategies.
  • Strong experience collaborating with artists, negotiating with partners, and commissioning new product ranges.
  • Knowledge of retail systems (ideally including Shopify) and a track record of improving online and in-person retail experiences.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills, with experience supporting and motivating team members.
