What will you be doing?
Breach Theatre has operated for 10 years as Breach LLP (no. OC404439). Whilst under this model, we operated as a not-for-profit, before forming a new company Breach Theatre Limited by Guarantee (no. 12371589) and are now in the process of converting to a CIC to represent this more fully. Board Members have legal responsibilities as a Company Director, including making sure we are compliant with company and employment law, health and safety legislation and equal opportunities. Board Members will read and sign off on our annual accounts and, with the other members, reach collective decisions and ensure we don’t do anything which would place our funds, assets or reputation at risk. We’re looking for people who have the ability to think independently, but also work as a team with the other Board Members to reach collective decisions. We’re keen to hear from anyone who thinks they have a skill-set which would benefit a company looking to be challenged as they expand their ambitions and workshop offerings. You will be able and willing to: - Prepare and be present for quarterly meetings with the Board. - Strategise and encourage creative thought about how the company can expand and realise their ambitions.- Challenge and support us in areas you think we can improve. - Contribute to the achievement of Breach’s ambitions by applying your skills, expertise, knowledge and contacts.
