The role: As a Data Engineer Intern, you will join our dynamic engineering team and contribute to building the #1 running app. Your responsibilities will include developing data platform capabilities, building ETL/ELT processes, and implementing data transformation logic. You will work closely with various stakeholders to support our data and analytics needs, which are crucial for driving the functionality of our app.
Job requirements: We are looking for candidates currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, or a related field. You should have a solid understanding of computing fundamentals, programming in Python, and SQL. Experience with cloud environments like AWS and tools such as Terraform or GitHub Actions is a plus. While not all skills are mandatory, adaptability, attention to detail, and a passion for technology are essential.
Benefits: During your internship, you will receive a prorated salary of £42.5K. We offer flexible working conditions, with three days a week from our office in Vauxhall, and 10 days of flexible holiday. Our team enjoys bi-weekly runs, lunches, and various social events.
