The Role

Can you craft bold, engaging ad creatives that drive growth across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube? This role is about much more than cutting footage - it’s about turning ideas into persuasive, story-led videos that reduce CAC, capture attention in the first few seconds, improve CTR and engagement, and build intrigue around our brand.

You’ll work closely with our Paid Ads team in fast-paced, two-week sprint cycles, developing fresh concepts, scripting ideas, testing variations, and refining them based on real performance data. The work demands both speed and creativity: sharp editing instincts, a strong design eye, and the ability to use motion graphics, copy, storytelling techniques, and AI tools to create standout ads efficiently and at scale.

Most importantly, you’ll balance performance with brand - ensuring every creative feels distinctly Much Better Adventures, while delivering measurable results that help us grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Producing high-performing, platform-specific creatives for Meta, TikTok, YouTube (and more) - that capture attention fast, improve CTR and engagement, and help reduce CAC.
  • Developing multiple variations of concepts to fuel a rigorous testing and learning process.
  • Developing and writing short, persuasive scripts or voiceover prompts that turn ideas into clear, emotionally engaging stories.
  • Working in two-week sprint cycles to deliver fresh ideas, analyse results, and refine based on performance data.
  • Partnering with the Paid Ads team to ensure creative strategy and campaign objectives are tightly aligned.
  • Turning raw UGC and brand assets into polished, native-feeling ads that resonate with audiences and feel authentic to the platforms.
  • Bringing flair to edits with motion graphics, captions, and design details that enhance clarity and stop the scroll.
  • Balancing speed with creativity - delivering fast, iterative edits without compromising quality or brand integrity.
  • Contributing ideas proactively, helping us spot platform trends, and pushing creative boundaries in the performance ad space.

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing performance-driven video ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Strong creative scriptwriting skills - able to take an idea and develop it into an engaging, persuasive narrative that feels native to the platform while triggering emotion and action.
  • A strong portfolio that shows both creative flair and commercial results.
  • Confidence working with UGC and raw content, turning it into polished, high-performing ads.
  • Strong skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects (or equivalents), with motion graphics ability to elevate storytelling.
  • Awareness of AI and creative tools that can streamline workflow without compromising craft or quality.
  • A keen eye for design, typography, pacing, and platform-native storytelling.
  • Commercially minded - you understand metrics like hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CAC, and how creative impacts them.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced sprint cycles, delivering multiple variations quickly.
  • Proactive and collaborative - able to bring ideas to the table and work closely with a performance marketing team.
  • Experience and/or a passion for travel, outdoor and adventure.
