Here at innocent, we’re on a mission to make it easier for everyone to get more fruit and veg into their bodies. We started back in 1999 and since then we’ve gone from selling a few smoothies at a music festival to becoming one of Europe’s biggest drinks companies with around 1,000 people (and the B Corp seal of approval).

It’s nice to be able to say things like that but we’re not patting ourselves on the back just yet. We want to show everyone that it’s possible to be a successful business while looking after people and the planet too, so we’re trying to get better in pretty much every way. And that’s where this job comes in.

what you'll be doing

We’re looking for someone who’s great with data, curious about the details, and passionate about making a positive impact through sustainability. In this role, you’ll help us understand and improve our environmental footprint, turning numbers and insights into real action across the business.

You’ll be:

  • Gathering and analysing carbon and environmental data across the business to support our ESG reporting (CSRD, CSDDD, B Corp) and track our progress.
  • Coordinating and supporting our Hero Supplier Programme and Risk Register: helping us spot and tackle supplier hotspots on key environmental and social sustainability topics.
  • Developing and improving systems and processes that keep us on top of all ESG regulations and reporting requirements, including key environmental KPIs.
  • Supporting the sustainability team with insights and recommendations, helping to shape action plans that reduce risk and make a real difference.
  • Working closely with our Head of Sustainability on carbon reporting, and partnering with TCCC, Finance Controls, and our ESG Manager on broader ESG data.
  • Collaborating with teams across the business (TRS, Procurement, Logistics) to turn insights into action: building stronger, more sustainable relationships with our suppliers.

you'll have

  • Experience working in sustainability and/or ESG reporting, you know your way around data, frameworks, and what good looks like.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a knack for turning data into insights that actually mean something.
  • Great communication skills, you can take something complex and make it sound simple, clear, and engaging.
  • A genuine passion for using business as a force for good, with a solid understanding of key sustainability topics and challenges.
  • Familiarity with the sustainability regulatory landscape and ESG reporting requirements.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence pulling together reports and summaries (bonus points if you’ve used Power BI).
  • A collaborative mindset and solid project management skills, especially when it comes to working across different teams and functions.

you'll get

  • The chance to keep growing your project management skills while delivering meaningful, lasting change across the business.
  • Plenty of exposure to different teams and stakeholders, as you lead process improvements that make a real difference to how we deliver on our sustainability goals.
  • And of course, the satisfaction of knowing your work is helping us do business in a way that’s better for people and the planet.

We want innocent to be a great place to work, so we do lots of stuff to make people feel at home and try to make sure everyone’s career is shaping up the way they want it to. There are plenty of opportunities to have a go at something new or take things further.

In exchange for helping us do business in the right way, you’ll get a solid rewards package that includes a salary (phew), private healthcare, a target-based bonus, and a bunch of other nice things like a day off on your birthday. And yes, you get free smoothies.

We also know that not all our drinkers come from the same background, or think the same – so why should we? At innocent, we want to be a great place to work where a diverse bunch of people from all backgrounds can turn up and thrive. When we hire, we want all the juice, bits, and pulp that make you who you are.

Even if you don’t think you can tick all the boxes, if the job sounds right for you, come and throw your hat in the ring.

Probably best to get your skates on though, as we might close this early if we get loads of applications.
